Summit Expedition

Situated at an altitude of 700 meters, the Chiatura region was during the Soviet era the Georgian center for competitive climbing. This region has many sectors with ratings ranging from 5a-8a (5.8 - 5.13b). The cliffs are between 10 and 30 m high. 

The site is about 180 km from the capital Tbilisi.  

Mestia, the regional capital of Svaneti, offers us a site 10 km from the centre. 

The rating varies between 5c and 6c (5.10a - 5.11b), all on some 14 passable lanes. 

Kutaissi, the country's third largest city, located on the Svaneti road some 230 km from the capital, offers us 7 lanes of 15 to 30 m in the very centre of the city.

In the Kazbek region at almost 1750 m you will be able to climb in three sectors located in the different surrounding massifs. There is something for everyone: Trad, multipitch and rind, spread over about sixty routes rated from 5a to 7a (5.8 - 5.13b).   

For those who love bouldering, don't think about it, this is where you have to come to climb!

Located about 50 km from the capital, 20 boulder problems scattered in the forest, rated from V2 to V7. There are also rind with 8 routes, rated from 5c to 8a (5.10a - 5.13b).   

Do you dream of being able to climb up and go for a swim right afterwards? The Black Sea coast is sure to please you! 

380 km from the capital, Batumi lies on the Turkish border. And about ten kilometres from there are about fifteen 20-metre-long routes rated from 5a to 6a (5.8 - 5.10b). 

Tbilisi, the capital, also offers you its share of surprises, with about thirty fifteen-metre-long routes located in the heart of the city.  

And for lovers of "out of the ordinary" sites, it is possible to climb an ancient monument, which rises to over 40 metres!

The routes are rated between 5a and 7a (5.8 - 5.11d).
